The Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence Innovation Forum

The Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence Innovation Forum

Bridging gaps in epidemic intelligence through global collaboration

The initiative

Faced with the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals and organizations working at the intersection of public health, data science and technology explored innovative ways to support public health decision-making. In early 2022, the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence launched the Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence Innovation Forum as a space dedicated to promoting idea exchange, coordination, and alignment among diverse stakeholders across these fields. Experts and practitioners from governments, NGOs, foundations, academia and other sectors connect quarterly to share their work with the wider public health intelligence and surveillance community.
