On 13 October, the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence will celebrate the launch of the new Epidemic Intelligence from Open Sources system (EIOS v.2) and unveil the prototype of the Decision Support Pandemic Simulator.

Hosted at the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence in Berlin, the EIOS system helps public health teams detect and respond to potential health threats by analyzing large volumes of publicly available information in near real time.
The Pandemic Simulator introduces an innovative and interactive decision-support environment where policymakers and practitioners can explore scenarios, test interventions, and anticipate the cascading impacts of outbreaks.
This is a unique opportunity to experience first-hand how these new tools can strengthen preparedness and response to health crises worldwide.
